● Choose a safety topic of your interest for your internal assessments and extended essay as the availability of materials, originality of idea and methodologies etc will take weeks to validate and multiply the number of subjects. So it is always recommended to choose a topic that can be easily accomplished.

● During CAS activities save your time, effort and money by validating your methodology with your advisors/counsellors or teachers before proceeding with the actual experiment. Prepare contingency plans in case your methodology fails or does not work; this will save you from last-minute stress.

● IB external examinations usually span for a month so there is less time to prepare for so many subjects. It is important to know your learning strategies whether you learn from books or through YouTube tutorials. The best thing would be to use a mix of YouTube tutorials, books, study guides and question banks.

● Use Duolingo or any other language application for mastering your vocabulary and grammar, for ab initio languages.

● Make sure to write your original ideas and experience while writing an essay paper

● In case you fail in any subjects use it as a learning experience to work even harder.
